Arveline Morgan, 88, of Camden, passed away at 7:25 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rushville.
She was born on September 19, 1932, in Phelps, Kentucky, the daughter of Lawson and Margie (Hall) Hatfield. She married Edward Morgan on June 20, 1966, in Chicago and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2003.
Surviving are three sons Rick Hatfield and wife Debbie of Pomeroy, Ohio, James Johnson of Camden and Jeffrey Johnson and companion Nicole of Chicago, five grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Steve Hatfield and her siblings Vigil, Alice, Ida, Faye and Kermit.
Arveline was a homemaker. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening. She was always on the go and liked shopping, attending Bluegrass Music Festivals and playing bingo.
Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 14, 2020, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with Reverend Stacy Tomich officiating. Interment will follow in the Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to the Phoenix Opera House in Rushville.
