Charles A. "Bud" Kinman

Charles A. “Bud” Kinman, 79, of Loraine, passed away at 1:14 AM, Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

He was born on November 22, 1941, in Quincy, the son of Henry Nick and Pearl Marie (Sparrow) Kinman.  He married Barbara “Dynamite” Lanning on July 27, 1962, in Quincy and she survives.

Also surviving are one daughter Rhonda “Susie” Kinman of Loraine, two granddaughters Brittany (Jeff) Kindhart of La Prairie, Paige (Dusty Carson) Kinman of Quincy, one grandson Jesse (Destiney Buss) Kinman of Clayton, former daughter-in-law Cheryl Kinman of Clayton, nine great grandchildren Anthony, Samantha, Dustin, and Micheal Kindhart all of La Prairie, Jasmine and Lilly Kinman of Quincy, Gage and Willow Carson, Aria “Rosie” Kinman of Clayton, with one due in February, his siblings Nick Kinman, Jr., of Loraine, Joan Hardy of Rutherford, North Carolina, and Glen (Ruth Ann) Kinman of La Prairie, who Bud referred to as “little brother:, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Gary Kinman, and two sisters Wanda Lee Gooding and Alice “Libby” Topper.

Bud served in the United States Army.  He was a retired long haul truck driver for many companies.

He was a member of the Lima Masonic Lodge, and the Ursa AMVETS.  He enjoyed fishing on the river, and duck and dove hunting were some of his favorite things to do.  He also enjoyed helping others in any way he could.  Bud was also known to tell a “yarn” or two, some believable, others not.

Services will be held at later date.  Memorials may be given to the family. The Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon has been entrusted to care for Bud and his family.
