Dennis Barnes

Dennis lee Barnes, 74, of Quincy formerly of Mendon passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in his home.

Dennis was born on October 18, 1944 in Clarksville, Mo. to the late Lee M. and Lenora (Blackstun) Barnes. He married Dorothy Lee Waldheuser on April 1, 1966 in Quincy. Dorothy passed away on June 25, 1991. He later married Nancy Ancelet on February 6, 1993 in Mendon. Nancy survives of Quincy.

Dennis was a member of the Local #965 Operating Engineers out of Springfield for over 50 Years. He was also a member of the Herman Masonic Lodge #39 in Quincy and loved hunting and fishing.

Graveside services will be 9:30 A.M. on Friday, February 22, 2019 in Quincy Memorial Park with Chaplain James Riley officiating. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Good Samaritan Home or the Quincy Humane Society. The Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon has been entrusted with the arrangements.
