Dorothy Weaver

Dorothy Lois Weaver, 95, of Rushville, Illinois passed away at her home on February 4, 2022

She was born on September 5, 1926, in Havana, Illinois the daughter of the late Elmer and Martha (Leslie) Wilcoxen.

Dorothy worked a variety of job and was known for selling Avon and Mary Kay cosmetics.  She also worked at Snyders Nursing Home in laundry services for over ten years before operating a resale business with reclaimed and salvaged items.

She is survived by a son, Lon of Jacksonville, Illinois; three brothers; and two sisters; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta.

There will be a graveside service for Dorothy at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Good Hope Cemetery, Rushville, Illinois.
