Doug Lashbrook, 42, of Rushville, passed away at 3:36 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at his home.
He was born on September 21, 1977, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, the son of Keith and Barb (Willhite) Lashbrook.
Surviving are three daughters Jadyn, Skylin and Taelyn Lashbrook, his parents Keith and Barb Lashbrook, uncle and aunt Larry and Nancy Lashbrook all of Rushville and aunt Shirley Pruitt of Kansas City, Kansas, special friend Abril Pate of Beardstown and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrick Lashbrook, his maternal grandparents Otis and Noreen Willhite and paternal grandparents J. Robert and Edna Lashbrook.
A 1996 graduate of Rushville High School, he worked at Subway in Rushville. He then began his career with Schuy Labs, and was currently a Production Supervisor for Schuyler Nutrition in Rushville. He also worked part time at County Market in Rushville.
He attended the Houston United Methodist Church, north of Rushville. He enjoyed golfing, cookouts, and sitting around the fire. He devoted as much time as possible to spending time with his girls.
Due to the current health situation and directives from the Illinois Governor and the CDC, private graveside services will be held at the Rushville City Cemetery, with Pastor Dan Wise officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to an education fund for his daughters.
