Frances "Bonnie" Busby Ogden

Frances “Bonnie” Busby Ogden, 85, of Beardstown, formerly of Schuyler County, passed away at 10:35 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at her home.

She was born on March 30, 1934, in Bland, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Mary Frances (Crider) Fitzgerald.  She first married Clarence Lee Busby Sr. on March 31, 1951, in Rushville and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1971.  She later married John Ogden on February 15, 1998, in Chandlerville and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2008.

Surviving are three children Brenda Bollin and husband Calvin of Nauvoo, Rhonda Garrett and husband Milton of Rolla, Missouri, Clarence Lee “Jim” Busby Jr. and wife Sharon of Beardstown, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a stepdaughter Elsie Long, a grandson Willie Collins, two brothers Everett Fitzgerald and Raymond Fitzgerald, three sisters Jewel Breeden, Mae Granneman and Ruby Bosaller.

She was a homemaker and home healthcare provider.  She enjoyed reading and traveling.  She was a very accomplished seamstress.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with Reverend Deborah Lee officiating.  Interment will follow in the Christian Neck Cemetery, north of Rushville.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to Hope Blooms.
