Ida was born on March 11, 1921, in Adams County, a daughter to the late Carl F. and Anke T. Flesner Heinecke. She married Herbert W. Flesner on Feb. 19, 1939, in South Prairie Church in Golden. She later married Lester E. Wear on Dec. 12, 1964. He died on Nov. 28, 2005.
Ida attended Whitford School and Golden High School. She had several occupations throughout her life, retiring from Golden Good Shepherd Home in 1990. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Golden. She was always cooking and baking and was known for her pies. She enjoyed flower gardening and volunteering at the Windmill and Golden Good Shepherd Home.
Survivors include her brother, Arnold (Dorothy) Heinecke of Clayton; her sister, Rosella Moorman of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Flesner, Mildred Schlueter and Dorothy Wear.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. on Saturday in Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Golden with the Rev. Mike Grieve conducting. She will be laid to rest in Golden Memorial Gardens.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the church.
MEMORIALS: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Golden Historical Society, or Golden Good Shepherd Home.
