He was born Nov. 25, 1938, in Quincy, a son of the late Lemuel and Dorothy (Agard) Frazier. He married Carol Kropp on Sept. 26, 1964, in Ursa. She died Dec. 14, 2000.
Jim served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an insurance agent with Country Insurance for more than 35 years and was a volunteer fireman. He was a member of Ursa Christian Church and the Ursa Lions Club. He was a Little League coach for many years and an avid golfer.
Surviving are two children, Julie (Roger) Leenerts of Quincy and Les (Heather) Frazier of Lee's Summit, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kate Leenerts, Anna Leenerts, Grant Leenerts, Ethan Frazier and Trevor Frazier; and two brothers, William "Bill" Frazier of Pontiac and Robert "Bob" (Clara) Frazier of Grand Island, Neb.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Frazier.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Ursa Christian Church, with Pastor Bill Mitchell conducting. Private family burial will be at a later date in New Providence Cemetery, near Ursa.
VISITATION: From 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, Ursa Christian Church.
