Jeff Griggs

Jeff A. Griggs, 60, of Ursa passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Jeff was born on September 7, 1955 in Quincy to Thomas R. Griggs and the late Norma L. (Clair) Griggs.
He married Rose Hong on August 23, 1997 in Can Tho, Vietnam. Rose survives of Ursa.
Jeff retired from Harris Corporation in 2014. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and trapping.He loved the outdoors, his family trips to Kentucky and was a world traveler.
In addition to Rose, Jeff is survived by; his father Thomas R. Griggs of Meyer, two step-sons, Josh Daniel of Quincy, Khoi ( Thuy) Van of Quincy, one step- grand-daughter, Kasey Van of Quincy, four siblings, Gary T. Griggs (Linda Breder) of Quincy, William C. “Rick” (Rhonda) Griggs of Quincy, Lisa K. (Gary) Baker of Quincy, Robert A. (Barbara) Griggs of Fowler, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be 10:00 A.M Thursday, March 3, 2016 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon with Brian Byquist officiating. He will be laid to rest in Mendon Cemetery in Mendon. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorial gifts have been suggested to the Blessing Cancer Center.
