Larry D. Woodworth, 59, of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Larry was born on May 24, 1958 in Quincy to the late Walter Raymond and Rose Marie (Porter) Woodworth Neustadt.  He was a 1976 graduate of Unity High School in Mendon, where he was very active in sports and played chess.

Larry enjoyed drag boat racing, watching tractor pulls, going to county fairs, fishing and catching snapping turtles. He was a Master Welder and could fix anything. He was especially proud of his great-god children.

Surviving are; four siblings, Tom (Regina) Woodworth of Iola, KS., Bernie (Susan) Woodworth of Mendon, John Woodworth of Marshall, Mo., Kristy (Mark) Homan of Ursa, a God daughter, Jasmine Poling of Quincy, five great-God Children, Who called him grandpa, Anthony, Hannah, Jason, Jeffrey and Carter. Also surviving are; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. There will be no visitation but friends are invited to the services at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his great-God children’s education fund in care of Bernie Woodworth.
