LeRoy Milby, 54, of Macomb, passed away at 2:10 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at his home.
He was born on October 9, 1962, in Rushville, the son of Morris W. and Frances (Smith) Milby.
Surviving are his sister Phyllis Swearingen and husband Jack of Littleton, sister-in-law Debbie Milby of Industry and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lewis Milby.
LeRoy graduated from Industry High School. He worked for over 25 years with Sodexo Food Service on the campus of Western Illinois University. LeRoy was a dedicated employee, who would walk to work no matter what the weather conditions were like.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Littleton. When he was younger he participated with Special Olympics. Most recently, he participated in special recreation activities with the Macomb Park District. He enjoyed bowling and watching sports, and was thrilled with the Chicago Cubs World Series win.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with Pastor Sam Stringer officiating. Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, at the Wood Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Macomb Park District Special Rec Fund, 1406 N. Randolph, Macomb, IL 61455.
