Rosemarie Gossage

Rosemarie Ann Gossage, 58, of Browning, passed away at 4:42 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.

She was born on October 2, 1959, in Rushville, the daughter of Paul and Iris (Meadows) Gossage.

Surviving are her brother Dean Gossage of Astoria and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Raymond and David Gossage, a niece Jennifer Gossage and a nephew Raymond “R.C.” Gossage.

Rosemarie had worked as a nurse’s aide at Snyder Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville, Astoria Care Center in Astoria, Myers Nursing Home in Beardstown, Heritage Manor in Mt. Sterling and was currently working at the Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rushville.

She loved to read a good book, many times a Western.  She also enjoyed to crochet.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Browning Cemetery, near Browning, with Pastor Charla Meyers officiating.  Interment will follow.  Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
