Stephen Keck

Stephen Ray Keck, 64, of Rushville, passed away at 7:02 PM, Monday, April 20, 2020, at his home.

He was born on February, 27, 1956, in Mississippi County, Missouri, the son of William Ray and Mary L. (Rickett) Keck.  He first married Rissa Parsano on June 30, 1979 in Rushville.  He later married Venus Ashens.

Surviving are his wife Venus of Freeport, his former wife Rissa Keck of Bartonville and their daughter Shanna Flowers and husband Josey of Rushville, three granddaughters Camryn JoLea, Joaney Reece and Isabella Grace Flowers, three brothers James Keck and wife Joyce of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Tommy Keck and wife Sheila of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Clyde Keck of Spencer, West Virginia, two sisters Georgia Bailey and husband Clinton of Holiday, Florida, and Mary Keck and companion Nathan Edeus of Rock Falls, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Eddie Keck.

Stephen was a 1976 graduate of the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville.  For many years, he operated his own handyman and lawn care businesses.

He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and hanging out with friends and family.

There will be no services.  Memorials are suggested to an education fund for his granddaughters or the Illinois School for the Deaf.
