Sue Toland

Sue Toland, 77, of Rushville, passed away at 10:24 AM, Friday, January 21, 2022, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born on March 21, 1944, in Meredosia, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Vera (McDannald) Dickman.  She married Kenny Lee Toland on July 1, 1962, in Meredosia and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2004.

Surviving are three children Melinda Robertson and husband Kevin and Bill Toland and wife Christy all of Rushville, and Todd Toland and wife Holly of Rock Springs, Georgia, seven grandchildren Dustin Robertson and wife Rachel, Kristen Moore and husband Jim, Bryan Robertson and fiancée Alexandria Heeman, Audra Toland, Derrick Toland and fiancée Jaclyn Switzer, Thomas Toland and fiancée Hannah Palmer and Michael Toland, one brother Ted Dickman of Columbia, Missouri, sister-in-law Erna Lee Dickman of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five brothers Sonny Dickman, Bob Dickman, Carl Dickman, Wayne Dickman, and her twin Butch Dickman.

Sue was 1962 graduate of Meredosia High School.  She was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rushville and enjoyed sewing and doing crafts.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM, Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Oakland Cemetery in Meredosia.  Memorials are suggested to Culbertson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
